Eagle Point Resort is two and half-hours drive from Makati. The resort is located in Bo.Bagalangit, Mabini, Batangas. The resort sits atop of a hillside of the Calumpang Peninsula and on the southern mouth of Balayan Bay. The view is amazing with a lovely and passionate sight of the clear blue water of the sea.

This Batangas beach resort has varied accommodations from Terrace Hotel, Casablanca Condominiums, Villa Suites, Cottage Suites and Native Cabanas majority of them overlooking the ocean. (To fit anyone’s funds) There are two types of pools in the resort. One is a fresh water pool with two stages, connected by a slide with waterfalls, which the young kids will truly enjoy. The Reef Pool is a salt-water pool, which will give you a unique feeling of swimming with the baby sharks and turtles.

Eagle Point Resort has a restaurant that serves your favorite continental, oriental and Filipino cuisine. The food is fine but the service is quite slow, and a bit pricey. (The management should look into the slow service problem.) If you have not tried Batangas Brew, this is the time to try this extraordinary coffee with its strong taste and pungent aroma. The bar offers your preferred drink and has large window with spanning panorama of the natural world. The place is also perfect to watch the sunset.

Carfel-Vistamar Incorporated traces its beginnings in 1981 when Carfel Seaventure Phils. was established. It started as a sister company of Carfel Shell Export which was then among the top shell exporters of seashells and handicrafts in Asia, supplying shell shops and shell collectors worldwide with specimen shells as well as rare collectibles. Carfel Seaventure Phils. was one of the country’s pioneer dive companies that offered dive tours, SCUBA instruction, equipment sales and rentals.

In 1991, the company ventured into the resort industry and established Vistamar Beach Resort & Hotel in Anilao, Batangas, Philippines. Strategically nestled between sea and lush mountain, its modern 4-building hotel has 96 rooms that provide comfortable rest and leisure for up to 500 hotel guests. The sprawling 3 hectare resort can hold up to 3,000 day trip guests at any one time, making it the biggest picnic destination in the area.
