Taramindu Beach Garden Inn

You need not go far from home to experience the beauty of crystal clear water in a long coastline of white sand beach resort. Taramindu Beach Garden Inn in Laiya, San Juan Batangas is just about 2½ hours away from Makati by land and situated in the southern part of Manila. It is a place you may call paradise with friendly people around, where you can truly relax and unwind privately with your family and close friends.

The Balukbaluk dining hall with a small sundeck overlooks the beachfront. It boasts of a variety of good food served at reasonable prices. The Taramindu roof deck, another feature of the resort, has a mini bar and a wide space that can double as a function hall under the canopy of a hundred year old tamarind tree. Here, you can sit, relax and enjoy the view of Mount Daguldol guarding the West side, or perhaps enjoy a romantic candle lit dinner under the stars.

Massage is available upon request to relax those stressed muscles while you sip your refreshing ice cold fruit drinks. There is a convenience store where you can buy swim wear, gears and other small items you might have forgotten from home.

Other amenities include water sports like kayak, banana boat and the bangka ride that will take you around the snorkeling area to see the beautiful marine garden of which Laiya is famous for. Other outdoor fun activities such as beach volleyball and badminton, indoor table and board games like mahjong, chess, scrabble and magnetic darts are also available. The resort is managed by a courteous staff headed by a physician-manager. A mini clinic for first aid service is open 24/7 with basic medicines at hand. Laiya is known to be peaceful and quiet, but to ensure every guests stay at our resort safe, 24 hour security and life guards are on standby.

Taramindu Beach Garden Inn, Laiya, Batangas

Taramindu Beach Garden Inn

Laiya beach is one of the chosen weekend getaway beaches in Batangas. First and foremost it is a short drive from Manila, with white sand and clear water.

Rooms are equipped with air-conditioner, a small TV with DVD player. With individual untainted toilet and bath as well as hot and cold shower. The room is well lit with a lampshade and a wall lamp, which makes the room feel cozier.

Balukbaluk dining hall serves mostly Filipino food, and an ala carte menu. Which is somewhat unique in the area. Most resorts around offers all you can eat buffet meals. And leaves you with no option on what you want to eat. Which gives Taramindu Beach an edge with other resorts in the area.

Although Tamarindu Beach has the smallest area, the shoreline has clear water with the finest sand along the 7 kilometer white sand beach in Laiya and Hugom area. My kids enjoyed swimming in the beach (which they don’t usually enjoy) and watch the small fishes at low depth.

Aside from swimming, kids can occupy themselves with beach volleyball, which my eldest daughter prepared for and brought along her ball. Together with the whole family we sweat it out and enjoyed the game. And for badminton lovers, a flat sand court and rackets are available for free.

Taramindu Beach Garden Inn in Laiya is a perfect choice if you are considering your break in Laiya.
